CO2 Reactor for aquariums up to 125 gallons
The Reactor 500 is an amazing device for introducing CO2 into your live plant aquarium. Water is pumped from top to bottom, opposing the bubbles of CO2 gas that rise slowly through the spiral dissolution path with extraordinary contact time. This advanced design ensures a high dissolution rate for efficient use of the CO2 gas. The Reactor 500 can be mounted inside the aquarium or, space permitting, within your open filtration system. The Reactor 500 is designed for use on live plant aquariums up to 125 gallons. Reactor Extensions allow you to increase your CO2 capacity for larger systems.

* Always use a GFI when installing your internal pump system.
* Always create a drip-loop with the power cord to prevent water from reaching electrical outlets.
* Use a pH Controller or pH Computer to switch an M-Ventil Solenoid, which will regulate the injection of CO2 to your aquarium based on the pH value of the system water. This eliminates harmful pH swings and offers an essential element of stability to your live-plant aquarium. Typically you will set your pH value between 7.0 - 7.4 for freshwater live-plant aquariums.
* Use the needle valve on the CO2 Regulator and a Bubble Counter to set your initial CO2 bubble count and adjust thereafter.
* Reactor Extensions can be used to increase your tank capacity in 125 gallon increments.
* The pump tee fitting is designed to accept a 1/2" line from a powerhead pump and has an integrated valve for adjusting an ideal flow rate.
* Place your CO2 reactor in an area of good water circulation within your system.
